We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused Scheduler to join our Repairs & Maintenance team on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering an efficient repairs service to our customers. As the link between residents, contractors, and operational teams, you'll ensure repair appointments are scheduled effectively, enquiries are handled professionally, and customers receive an excellent experience from start to finish.
You'll work in a busy environment where no two days are the same, balancing customer calls, scheduling activities, contractor coordination, and administration while supporting the smooth delivery of maintenance services.
Location: Dereham
Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw - Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term - 6 months
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling incoming calls from customers to arrange, reschedule, or update repair appointments.
- Responding to customer and contractor enquiries via email and telephone.
- Coordinating repair works and allocating jobs to contractors.
- Supporting planners with the scheduling of more complex repairs involving multiple trades.
- Monitoring contractor performance and updating internal systems accurately.
- Maintaining records and completing administrative tasks to meet service targets and deadlines.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to continually improve service delivery.

What You'll Bring
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service, scheduling, coordination, or administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers over the phone.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
- Experience using computer systems and standard Microsoft applications.
- A positive, collaborative approach and a willingness to contribute to team success.
- GCSE-level education or equivalent.
