Location: Bracknell office
Contract type: Full time, permanent
The Role
The Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and dispatching field technicians to ensure work is delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with customer expectations. The role acts as the link between customers, technicians, planners, and operations, ensuring schedules are accurate, capacity is optimised, and work orders are fully prepared for successful execution.
What will you be doing?
- Contact customers to arrange and confirm the scheduling of works, following agreed processes and standard communication templates.
- Create and maintain technician schedules with a minimum of two weeks’ advance visibility wherever possible.
- Dispatch technicians to jobs in line with schedules, customer requirements, and operational priorities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of technician skillsets, competencies, limitations, and working hours (in collaboration with the Planner).
- Ensure technicians receive full and detailed job information, including scope of works and site contact details.
- Manage schedule adjustments for sickness and unexpected absence, using real-time feedback from engineers and the wider team.

To be successful in this role you will have/be:
- Experience in scheduling or coordination of Engineers within a service or field-based environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of capacity planning and workforce utilisation.
- Experience working with work order systems and operational scheduling tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, technicians, planners, and managers.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date schedules under changing conditions.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between £24,785.00-£49,420.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
