💰 Pay: £35,000 + £3,500 Night Allowance 🕒 Working Hours: Wednesday – Monday (9pm – 6am)

About the Role
As Scheduling Manager, you’ll be at the centre of our operation—ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, every time. This role is about far more than managing schedules: it’s about shaping the workforce function, driving performance, efficiency, and service delivery across the business.
You’ll:
- Lead and develop a critical team while influencing the future of workforce planning.

This is a great opportunity for a scheduling manager seeking their next big step in a progressive team. You’ll manage your own geographical area while overseeing a team of Administrators to ensure a unified approach to scheduling working hours.
Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Scheduling Manager, you’ll:
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of schedulers to foster a high-performing, supportive, accountable environment delivering excellence.
- Take ownership of workforce scheduling using WFM systems, ensuring full and effective shift coverage across all operations.
- Monitor live operations, making real-time decisions to respond to changing demands for service continuity.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, legislation, and company policies—maintaining high ethical and operational standards.
- Act as the key escalation point for workforce and scheduling issues, resolving them efficiently.
- Utilise data, trends, and forecasting to anticipate future resourcing needs, improving workforce planning continuously.
- Oversee the accuracy of rostering, reducing pay queries, avoiding errors, and ensuring invoices are delivered on time.
- Support recruitment and identify the optimal staffing levels for business needs.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and training for personnel readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying smarter, more efficient working methods.
- Champion a high-performance culture, aligned with company values, focused on collaboration, accountability, and results.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
You should embody: ✅ A natural leader, bringing energy, ownership, and accountability. ✅ Familiarity with WFM systems (Timegate desirable). ✅ Data-driven thinking—balancing strategy with action. ✅ Thriving under pressure, with the ability to make impactful, confident decisions. ✅ Exceptional communication skills, able to build lasting relationships with teams. ✅ A five-year checkable employment history or documented evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or education during that time.
Set at job benchmark: Grade E

Desirable: Experience in scheduling, workforce planning, or operation environments.
