Role overview

Route Planning Officer (Willenhall West Midlands) Logistics

We are looking for a motivated and driven person within our logistics operation. Your role is to ensuring that all orders are planned accurately. We love team players here at A.F. Blakemore, we are committed to providing our people the technical and personal skills to progress their careers.

You will be joining a forward-thinking family-owned business which began life in 1917, growing from humble beginnings into a company that now employs more than 7,500 people with a turnover in excess of £1 billion. A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is the 60th largest privately owned business in the UK. We are committed to developing a loyal and dedicated workforce that is focused upon excellent customer service and behaving with honesty and integrity.

Key Accountabilities

  • Effective and timely route planning via Paragon software.
  • Effective MDS management
  • Accurate recording and communication of all daily planning to both internal and external customers.

Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required

  • Numerate and literate
  • 5 x GCSE (A-C)
  • Experience in distribution and planning operations
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word/Excel
