Permanent, Part Time

As a Scheme Manager at Amplius, you’ll play a key role in supporting residents in retirement living schemes to maintain their independence and quality of life. You’ll oversee day-to-day scheme operations, working closely with residents, contractors, families and colleagues to deliver a high-quality, responsive service.

Salary: £23,149.25 per year (FTE £27,007.46)

Contract: Permanent, part time

Your week: 30 hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

Location: Home Grange, Lincoln

Snapshot of your role

  • Be the main on-site contact for residents, keeping accurate records of visits, concerns and scheme activity using digital systems.
  • Carry out regular checks of the scheme, including health and safety, fire safety and general maintenance, to keep the environment safe and well maintained.
  • Respond to emergencies and alarm calls, providing calm and practical support until emergency services or family take over.
  • Support safeguarding by identifying risks, completing risk assessments and working with managers, families and external agencies where needed.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance issues, monitor contractor performance, and ensure work is completed to a good standard.
  • Support residents with day-to-day matters such as lease queries, complaints, anti-social behaviour, community engagement and scheme administration.

What we’re looking for

  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • Experience of resolving conflict in a calm, fair and professional way.
  • Confidence making sound decisions and staying calm in emergencies or difficult situations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with residents, colleagues and external partners.
  • Good organisational skills with confidence using IT systems and keeping accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and respond flexibly to changing priorities.
  • A commitment to delivering respectful, inclusive and customer-focused services.

Important - Enhanced DBS clearance, a full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and right to work in the UK are all essential requirements. We do not provide sponsorship.
