Scheme Manager - Adult Homelessness Services

Location: St Albans (Martin House & Hatfield Road)
Hours: 37.5 per week (rota)
Salary: £34,320 per annum

Lead with purpose and make a difference

We’re seeking a compassionate Scheme Manager to lead our adult homelessness services, supporting individuals to rebuild their lives in safe, inclusive environments.

About The Role

You will manage two supported housing schemes:

  • Martin House: 16 self-contained flats for adults with support needs, focused on independence and recovery
  • Hatfield Road: 5-bed shared HMO for men with lower support needs

You will ensure both services are safe, compliant and deliver high-quality, person-centred, trauma-informed support.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership, ensuring services reflect our values: Empower, Respect, Inclusion, Compassion and Collaboration
  • Support residents to build independence and access services
  • Lead, supervise and develop staff, managing rotas and performance
  • Maintain high standards in safeguarding, housing management and service delivery
  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities and external agencies
  • Oversee referrals, voids, incidents and continuous improvement

About you

  • Experience in homelessness, supported housing or similar
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, housing and complex needs
  • Prior Management experience a bonus
