Job Description

Role: Admin and Reprographics Assistant

Academy: Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth

Start Date: 01/09/2026

Salary (Actual Salary): £21,280

Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time + 5 days

Do you possess administrative skills combined with technical aptitude for resource production? Join us as an Admin and Reprographics Assistant, tasked with providing an efficient and up-to-date reprographics and learning resources service to students and staff. This role also provides essential, professional administrative support across the academy, offering confidential assistance to the PA to the Principal/Office Manager.

Responsibilities

This dual role focuses on delivering an efficient reprographics and learning resources service. Key technical duties involve photocopying materials for staff and students, including internal exam papers, and maintaining all reprographics machinery, undertaking routine maintenance and ordering supplies.

The assistant provides general clerical and administrative support, assists with internal and external meeting arrangements (including minute-taking), and administers the academy's postal system. Other duties include ordering stationery, managing academy displays, and liaising with the finance department regarding recharging.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess considerable experience working in an administration/office environment, specifically including experience using photocopying equipment. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, build positive relationships with colleagues, and the critical capacity to respect and maintain confidentiality.

Furthermore, proficiency in using standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work well under pressure managing competing deadlines are essential.
