School Bus Driver – Allegheny Transportation Services
About the Role
A School Bus Driver ensures the safe and timely transportation of clients from their pickup points to destinations. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a vehicle safely and efficiently
- Conducting pre-trip inspections
- Performing child checks post-route
- Maintaining compliance with DOT regulations

Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Background check, physical, and drug screening required
- Requires professionalism, attentiveness, and reliability
- Employer provides training for eligible candidates
Opportunity for CDL Training
- Non-CDL drivers may qualify for CDL training based on provisions
Compensation & Pay
- Hourly Wage: $24.00/hr
- Hours: 20 – 30 per week
- Possible part-time or flexible scheduling options
