Job Title: School Business Manager
About the Role
The School Business Manager will provide strategic leadership and operational management for Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, supporting the Principal, staff, governors, pupils, and students.
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Strategic Leadership & Development
- Provide strategic leadership and development of all business, resource, and estate functions in alignment with Trust policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with education frameworks, grants, funding, and budgets in line with governance, regulations, and partnerships.

Operational Management & Coordination
- Oversee HR, estates & facilities, school administration, catering, IT, governance, safeguarding, health and safety (including child protection & health and safety).
- Lead on financial administration, admissions, and attendance management in collaboration with school and Trust leads.
- Join the Executive Leadership Team, including the Principal, to advise, represent the school, and deliver multi-agency safeguarding partnerships.

- Policy & Communication
- Provide strategic information to the Principal and Governors to inform implementations and decisions.
- Maintain links with staff, families, the Trust, community, and local stakeholders.
Essential Requirements

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths at Grade 9-4 / A–C*).

Experience & Skills:
- Proven management experience within public/private sector organisations.
- Commercial/financial acumen with experience in HR, business operations, or estate management.
- Experience in safeguarding and equity within education preferred.
