School Catering Supervisor
Catering Supervisor – Part-Time Role (27.5 Hours Per Week)

We’re recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 27.5 hours per week, with a commitment of 43.2 working weeks per year.

As a Catering Supervisor at Chartwells, you’ll ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly while delivering truly incredible food experiences. Your Key Responsibilities
Your role will include (but not be limited to):
- Preparing and delivering delicious food to the highest standards
- Supervising culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable food and customer service
- Regularly communicating with your line manager to track KPIs and company targets
- Representing Compass Group UK&I, ensuring a positive brand image
- Liaising between customers and catering/support teams to exceed expectations
- Supporting and training team members, leading by example to help everyone perform at their best
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards across all catering operations

The Ideal Candidate
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- Have a minimum of two years’ catering experience
- Have experience managing teams in a similar role
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills
- Be an ambitious and motivated individual eager to continue upskilling
