Careers Adviser – Hounslow
Education Development Trust is seeking dedicated Careers Advisers to deliver high-quality Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) to students in school, college and community settings across Hounslow.
There are term-time only positions available, with fixed term/permanent contracts starting from September 2026.
Key Requirements

Essential Qualifications:
- A Level 6 Diploma in Careers Information, Advice & Guidance (CIAG)

Essential Experience:
- Proven experience working with young people in school or college settings

Essential Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of education, employment, and training pathways
- Excellent communication & organisational skills

Additional Notes
- Right to Work: We cannot offer sponsorship for this role. Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Salary & Benefits
- Starting Salary: £31,958 per annum (FTE, including London weighting) for 37-hour weeks (CIAG Level 6 qualified).
- Holiday Entitlement: 30 days + bank holidays (pro rata).
- Support Hours: 2 volunteering days (pro rata).
