Job Details
5 hours per week – 38 weeks per year - term time only
Riverside Primary School, Poole Park Road, Plymouth, PL5 1DD
Morning shift: 8.35am to 9.05 am
Afternoon shift: 2.50pm to 3.20 pm
(these times may be subject to change)
We are looking to recruit someone to take on this fulfilling role, which not only benefits the school but is appreciated by the whole community. You will be working outside standing and walking in all weathers carrying the School Crossing Patrol pole, so a sense of humour is required!
We provide everything in the way of uniform, training and support - no special experience or qualifications are necessary. If you communicate well, enjoy engaging with your community, and bring a warm, approachable manner, this role could be just right for you.

You will play a vital role in community safety by ensuring children and other members of the community have a safer place to cross the road. As a School Crossing Patroller, you can make a real difference to the safety of children at the beginning and end of the school day and encourage more children to walk to school.
