School Cycling Instructor - Cambridge
Welcome to Outspoken Training
We are looking for passionate cycle instructors who share our mission to make cycling accessible for all.
We deliver life-changing and fun cycle training along with instructor qualifications, to inspire more people to build cycling into their everyday lives.
Location and Availability
We run training across the country; in Cambridgeshire, we are looking for instructors who can travel to schools in and around:
- Ely
- St Neots
- Cambridge City
- Peterborough
- Huntingdon
- Yaxley
- Biggleswade
- Newmarket
You will have the opportunity to work alongside a small, enthusiastic local team who share your passion for inspiring the next generation of cyclists.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan & deliver fun, exciting and progressive cycle training sessions
- Work outdoors in a variety of off- and on-road environments
- Look after the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils through risk assessments
- Complete course paperwork, including:
- Checking registers
- Checking consent forms
- Course outcomes
- Communicate and liaise effectively with pupils, school staff, parents and clients
- Give advice on any relevant cycling matters

The Ideal Candidate
- You love cycling
- You enjoy working outside
- You are looking for term-time work within school hours (no weekly commitment required)
- You have experience and/or a strong interest in teaching/coaching
Working Arrangements
Courses are typically 1–4 days long during school term time. Our instructors are usually available for a minimum of two days per week with the flexibility to work variable hours per day between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
If you have additional availability, then once fully qualified, work is also available on weekends and during school holidays. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee hours but will work with you to match your needs as closely as possible with ours.
