Help Shape the Future of Grace Mary Primary School

Grace Mary Primary School (SIPS) is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Governing Board as Co-Opted Governors. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting our school community and ensuring every child achieves their full potential. As part of our governing body, you will contribute to the strategic leadership of the school, helping us maintain a safe, nurturing, and high-achieving learning environment.

About Our School

Grace Mary Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school at the heart of its community. We are committed to providing a high-quality education, promoting strong values, and supporting all pupils to succeed both academically and personally.

The Role of a Governor

Governors do not manage the day-to-day running of the school. Instead, they focus on:

  • Setting the school’s vision and strategic direction
  • Supporting and challenging the Headteacher and leadership team
  • Monitoring pupil achievement and school performance
  • Ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing are a priority
  • Overseeing the efficient use of the school’s budget

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
