School Kitchen Assistant
Kitchen Assistant – Part-Time (5 Hours Per Week)
We’re seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join the Chartwells team on a part-time basis (contracted for 5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days, equivalent to ~43.2 weeks/year). As part of Compass Group UK&I, Chartwells delivers nutritious, high-quality meals to educational institutions across the UK while investing in its people and celebrating difference.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that exceeds client and customer expectations
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness in kitchens and surrounding areas
- Ensuring the correct use of machinery and equipment
- Assisting with delivery loading/unloading and supply management
- Acting as an ambassador for Chartwells’ positive brand image
- Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Compliance with Health & Safety regulations
