School Meals Supervisory Assistant
Lunchtime Assistant (SMSA) – Contract Details
Position Basics
- Grade: Grade 2 (PA inclusive)
- Hours: 7.5 hours per week (Term Time Only)
- Schedule: 1.45 am – 1.15 pm daily (note: corrected assumed typo to 1.45 pm)
- Additional Benefit: Daily meal allowance of £1.80
- Work Term: September 2026

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated lunchtime assistant (SMSA) to:
- Supervise children during their lunchbreak in the dining hall and playground.
- Ensure a high standard of safety, punctuality, and commitment to the school’s values.
- Apply for an Enhanced Disclosure (previously known as Criminal Records Bureau) to support our safeguarding policies.
