Salary: £14,097 - £16,671 (£33,039 - £39,070 FTE) per annum
Hours: 20 hours per week, 10:30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (36 weeks per year)
Start date: September 2026
We are seeking to appoint a School Nurse to join our First Aid team at Cheadle Hulme School from September 2026.
Overview:
The post holder is a fully qualified registered nurse and provides a comprehensive school nursing service to promote the physical and mental health of all students. Cheadle Hulme School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We are looking for someone who:
- GCSE grade C or above in 5 subjects including Maths and English
- Band 5 or 6 registered Nurse with first aid qualifications
- Previous experience of working as a Nurse in a school or similar environment (minimum of 3 years experience)
- Previous experience of working with children and young people
- Knowledge of the Public Health role for school aged children and their families
