School Office Manager – North Bend STEM Academy (2026–2027)
About the Team
ACCEL Schools is seeking a friendly, energetic, and ethical School Office Manager to manage all office functions and serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and the public at North Bend STEM Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Principal, the School Office Manager will handle inquiries, maintain student records, support HR functions, and maintain clerical operations—all in full compliance with Federal Educational Records Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations.
The School Office Manager will:
- Collaborate with school leadership to achieve goals, foster a welcoming culture, and reinforce an open, transparent environment aligned with ACCEL Schools’ values.
Core Responsibilities
Student & Community Relations
- Handle phone, email, and in-person communications by:
- Answering calls
- Greeting and directing visitors/students
- Managing registration, badging, and visitor procedures
- Supporting Parent Orientation, Open House, school outings, and field trips
- Distribute school newsletters, surveys, and announcements
Student Enrollment & Record Management
- Assist in student retention efforts, including:
- Scheduling information sessions and tours
- Creating welcome packets and mailers
- Conducting orientations
- Inputting student/staff data into systems
- Secure transfer records for new students
- Maintain secure, confidential student cumulative files
- Comply with federal, state, and local record-keeping regulations
- Submit on-time attendance records
- Process withdrawals and requests
- Prepare/maintain transcripts
- Participate in annual audits

Administrative & HR Support
- Process I-9 verifications for new hires and ensure 100% staff attendance submissions
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
- Organise meetings, events, and calendar management
Facilities & Operations
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventories
- Coordinate with custodial, transportation, and facility teams
- Log & report facility/technical issues
- Manage meal counts and food service communications
Compliance & Reporting
- Adhere to all federal/state/local education regulations
- File and follow up on HR/clerical policies
About You
AP Degree: Bachelor’s preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in office management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Independent and collaborative work ethic
- Professional, punctual, and self-motivated
- Knowledge of confidentiality protocols
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Must pass FBI & state background checks (Educationally related experience preferred.)
