Location: Tower Hill / Aldgate
Reporting to: Head of Programme Administration
Salary: Competitive
About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive School Programme Administration Manager to play a central role in supporting the delivery of high-quality academic administration across the College.
This is a key leadership position within Programme Administration, where you will oversee a team of Programme Administrators and take ownership of core administrative processes that underpin the student journey. You’ll ensure our systems, processes, and communications are efficient, compliant, and responsive to the needs of both students and our academic colleagues.
PLEASE NOTE: We are recruiting three School Programme Administration Managers in total, each leading a distinct area: Foundation, Social Sciences, and Creative programmes.
Working closely with Deans, Course Directors and wider academic teams, you’ll help shape and continuously improve administrative practices—ensuring consistency, accuracy, and a strong focus on student experience.
More About The Role
You’ll lead from the front; balancing people management with operational delivery:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, structure, and ongoing support to ensure quality and efficiency
- Act as a key point of contact for students, academic staff and hourly paid lecturers, responding to queries with professionalism and care
- Support the smooth delivery of teaching through timetabling coordination, teaching cover arrangements, and communications
- Oversee key administrative processes such as interruptions of study, course and group changes
- Ensure the Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas) is accurately maintained, including submission links, module templates and updates
- Monitor and maintain compliance with academic regulations, policies and governance requirements
- Support the preparation of exam boards, audits, and reporting processes
- Analyse and report on student data (attendance, engagement, performance) to support decision-making and continuous improvement

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
