School Site Manager – Facilities Management
Salary: £14.89 per hour
Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Lansbury Lawrence Primary School, Cordelia Street, Tower Hamlets, E14 6ED
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Site Manager in a full-time, permanent role at Lansbury Lawrence School in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
As the Site Manager, you will be an experienced facilities professional responsible for supervising external and internal contractors across the school.
Responsibilities
- Act as the keyholder for the premises.
- Manage and oversee cleaning and caretaking staff, ensuring effective project delivery and clear communication.
- Coordinate with the facilities team to ensure all projects are completed on time.
- Maintain the security of the building and grounds when not in use.
- Regularly check heating, lighting, and alarm systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in facilities management, including an operational environment.
- Experience working against service performance KPIs.
- Line management experience with strong customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Health & Safety
- Risk assessments
- Method statements
- Permit to work procedures
- Completion of IOSH Managing Safety certification.
- Understanding of statutory compliance.
- IT literacy required.
- A full driving licence is mandatory.
