Science Coach

Science Coach

Laboratory Science | Process Manufacturing | Construction Materials Testing

Help shape the next generation of scientists.

Some people spend their careers doing incredible technical work.

Others spend their careers helping others become incredible.

At Tiro, our Science Coaches do both.

We're looking for experienced industry professionals who are ready for something different. People who've built real credibility in laboratory science, manufacturing or materials testing and now want to use that expertise to develop the next generation.

This isn't classroom teaching.

It's coaching. Challenging. Encouraging. Helping learners connect what they're learning with the realities of the workplace. Working alongside employers to develop confident, capable scientists and technicians who'll go on to make a real difference.

If you've always been the person colleagues come to for advice, enjoy helping others develop, and want a career that combines science with purpose, we'd love to hear from you.

We're recruiting across three specialist areas

Laboratory Science

You'll have experience working within laboratory environments, supporting scientific testing, analysis, quality assurance or technical laboratory operations. You understand good laboratory practice, compliance and what great science looks like in the real world.

Process Manufacturing

You'll bring experience from process manufacturing environments such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food production, polymers or related sectors. You'll understand production processes, continuous improvement, quality systems and the importance of safe, efficient operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
