JOB TITLE: Science Degree or Equivalent? Technologist Role!
LOCATION: Folkestone, Kent
SALARY: £14ph to £15ph
TERM: ongoing Temp
HOURS: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
Are you available immediately and looking for temporary work? Office Angels are proud to be supporting this global business in recruiting a Trainee Technologist. Their modern offices are based in Folkestone, with free parking on site but also within walking distance of local bus and train stations.
The Key Duties And Requirements Are
- Conduct Experiments and Testing: Perform a range of scientific tests and experiments following established protocols and guidelines. This involves conducting laboratory experiments, test trials, and collecting data.
- Documentation: Create thorough documentation detailing experimental procedures, results, and observations. Maintain precise records of experimental protocols, data, and analysis methods.
- Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including scientists, engineers, and technicians, to support research and development initiatives. Communicate effectively to share findings, discuss results, and contribute to project objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to optimise testing processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.

We'd Love To Speak To Candidates Who
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related area).
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and organisational abilities, emphasising accuracy and precision.
- Show eagerness for hands-on involvement in documenting practices, including creating technical reports, utilising scientific testing methodologies, operating laboratory equipment, and employing data analysis techniques.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to collaborate efficiently within a team setting. Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
