[Science Lecturer] Capital City College – London

Capital City College (CCC) is seeking a passionate Science Lecturer (hourly paid) at our Regents Park Centre to deliver valued teaching, support operational functions, and foster an inclusive, high-quality learning experience for our students.
About the Role
Our Science Lecturer plays a critical role in delivering vocational education while contributing to the operational success of the college. Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching and acting as a course tutor and personal tutor for Level 3 Diploma in the Principles & Practice for Pharmacy Technicians
- Developing and maintaining updated teaching materials tailored to curriculum needs
- Assessing student work and attendance, utilising Smart Assessor for progress monitoring
- Integrating English and Maths into vocational programmes
- Mentoring and supporting learners to encourage success

About You
We seek a driven, reliable professional with:
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills – managing duties efficiently without compromising quality
- Clear, professional communication – fostering strong relationships with students and colleagues
- Proactive attitude – eagerness to adapt to challenges, learn, and improve
- Preferable experience in tutoring, vocational education or equivalent teaching roles
- Commitment to inclusion – embracing diversity and contributing to a supportive environment
