Science Teacher

Science Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)| Full-Time | September Start

Location: Good School, South London

About the Role We are seeking a talented and dedicated Science Teacher to join our [ membrane] fantastic new school in South London. This role is vital to delivering high-quality science education to pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4. You’ll thrive in a dynamic teaching environment with state-of-the-art facilities, working alongside an inspiring team committed to nurturing every student’s potential.

This is a full-time position starting in September, and we’re looking to meet candidates at the earliest opportunity. Your role includes:

  • Delivering engaging lessons in Science (KS3 & 4)
  • Collaborating with experienced colleagues
  • Teaching and encouraging pupils to develop academic and personal growth

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-quality secondary school science lessons for KS3 & 4
  • Stimulate curiosity and performance in core science topics: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Develop and maintain progress towards desired student outcomes and achievement
  • Collaborate with specialists, heads of department, and cross-subject teams
  • Lead academic and personal development through tailored instruction
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a respectful atmosphere

Requirements

We welcome applications from highly-qualified and passionate science teachers at all career stages, including:

  • Recently qualified teachers (NQTs) / humanitarian Science graduates
  • UK-trained Science teachers with a recognized QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent overseas qualification (including EU/International qualifications)
  • Teachers willing to support the new school’s innovative approach

All applicants should demonstrate a strong pedagogical ability and commitment to excellence. International applicants must confirm that their overseas teaching qualification meets UK standards.

Salary

£190,000-£300,000 per annum*(Note: upper end accessible to experienced teachers)*
