Grass Roots Academic Support are seeking a skilled and dedicated Science Teacher to work within an SEMH school in the Thetford area

About The Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of teaching and learning, supporting pupil progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You will also provide calm, consistent support to pupils with autism and other complex needs, helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Mark and assess student work, providing clear feedback to support progress.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Model respectful, inclusive behaviour and contribute to a classroom culture where every student feels valued, heard, and respected.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEMH Teacher, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Hold a valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).

Salary
MPS salary
Salary is dependent on experience, training, and qualifications. The minimum requirements for this position are:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
