Science Teacher – Permanent Opportunity

North Cornwall

Full-Time | Permanent | September 2026 Start

Long-term Teachers is supporting a well-regarded secondary school in North Cornwall in the recruitment of a Science Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving 11–18 setting with a strong sense of community, high standards of behaviour and a successful Sixth Form. The school is known for its supportive leadership team, inclusive ethos and commitment to helping both students and staff achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Opportunities to teach KS5 may be available depending on experience
  • Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Starting September 2026

We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • ECTs and experienced Science Teachers are both encouraged to apply
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement
  • A positive and collaborative approach to school life
