Lead Teacher of Science (SEN Specialist)
Location: Mansfield and Local Area
Salary Scale: GBP32,916 - GBP45,352 (M1 - M6)
Schedule: Permanent, Term Time, 40 Hours per Week

We are looking for a Science Lead who can bridge the gap between complex scientific concepts and the unique needs of learners with ASC and SEMH. We don't just teach Science; we use it as a tool to help young people re-engage with the world around them.

- Shape the Vision: Take full ownership of the Science curriculum, ensuring it is hands-on, multi-sensory, and accessible across our Mansfield sites.
- Empower Peers: Act as the expert in the room, coaching and mentoring colleagues to deliver world-class Science sessions through bespoke CPD.
- Quality and Growth: Work with senior leaders to audit teaching quality, celebrate successes, and implement creative interventions to raise student attainment.
- Teach with Purpose: Work directly with small groups and 1-to-1, proving that with the right approach, every student can experiment, learn, and succeed.
The Profile
You don't need to be a corporate manager; you need to be a brilliant teacher with a heart for SEN and a head for curriculum design.
The Essentials:
- You hold QTS and a relevant Level 6 qualification.
