Secondary Science Teacher - Ramsgate
Job Title: Secondary Science Teacher
Location: Ramsgate
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: £32,916 to £51,048 (In line with your current pay scale)
About the Role:
Academics are currently working with a 'Good' secondary school in Ramsgate who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their well-established department in September 2026. The start date can be negotiated.
Responsibilities:
- Teach general science across key stages 3 & 4 to students of all abilities.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of securing outstanding student outcomes.
- Ability to deliver either physics, chemistry or biology to key stage 5 would be advantageous but not essential.

Requirements:
- Relevant experience of teaching science in a secondary school.
- Is a 'Good' teacher who can establish positive relationships with, motivate and inspire young people and who shows the potential and commitment to become an outstanding teacher.
- Good interpersonal skills, the ability to empathise with young people and build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Flexible and perceptive classroom practitioner who can engage students across the age and ability range and enable all to learn, enjoy and make progress.
- Commitment to personal, professional development and becoming the best you can be.
