Part-Time Science Technician (21 hours per week) – St. Osmund’s C.E. Middle School, Dorchester
School Profile St. Osmund’s C.E. Middle School is an over-subscribed Middle School for Years 5–8, based in Dorchester. As part of the Wessex Multi Academy Trust, the school is rated Good in all areas by Ofsted (2022) and received a strong SIAMS report (2026). About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Science Technician (21 hours/week, 8:00am–3:30pm term time only) to support the Science Department,assisting with lesson delivery (Years 5–8) and maintaining a clean, well-resourced teaching area.
- Duties include:
- Supporting science lessons for pupils across Years 5–8.
- Organising and supplying resources in line with CLEAPSS regulations (training provided).
- Hours: Permanent position starting Tuesday 1 September 2024.
- Essential: Keen attention to detail and a problem-solving, “can-do” attitude.
