Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance, and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.


How You Will Contribute

With the support and guidance of a manager, you will:

  • Organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing, and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks.
  • Plan and conduct:
    • Pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
    • Development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation).
  • Write technical reports requiring:
    • Analysis and interpretation of results.
    • Conclusions and recommendations.
  • Create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

What You Will Bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career, along with the following experience and knowledge:

  • Food science, science, or engineering ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods market.
  • Ability to:
    • Work on teams and independently, with guidance from a manager.
    • Prioritize and manage activities.
    • Proactively identify problems and create-and-implement independent solutions.
    • Apply fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data, reaching clear conclusions.
    • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including in technical writing.
  • Ability to put the consumer at the heart of development activities.

More about this role: This is a 12-months fixed-term assignment, from August/2026 until July/2027.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Product Development, ideally within New Product Development (NPD).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile working environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Project management experience or certification (nice to have).

Key note: While 1–2 years of NPD experience is preferred, we welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn.


Education / Certifications

  • BS in Food Science, Food Production, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Travel Requirements

  • The candidate must have availability for occasional travel within MEU (depends on project requirements):
    • 30-40% to Norway/Sweden, and other MEU countries.
  • Relocation support available: No.
