About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced scientist who is motivated to contribute to help deliver the company's scientific and strategic ambitions.
Responsibilities
- AAV upstream production using either suspension or adherent cell lines to generate high-quality research-grade rAAV.
- Mechanistically understand and improve AAV production with our synthetic DNA templates.
- Ensure validity and reliability of data and maintain accurate records.
- Provide support to high-priority projects as required to meet business objectives and project deadlines.
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings, training, and development sessions.
- Use and maintain company equipment in accordance with the company SOP's and health and safety guidelines.
- Undertake any other appropriate roles and responsibilities that reasonably fall within the role holder's skills and experience as requested.

Person Specification
- MSc + industry experience in relevant scientific field.
- Extensive experience with work in tissue culture.
- Hands-on experience with cell maintenance and transfection.
- Experience in AAV production and characterization is desirable but not necessary.
