The Opportunity
As a Scientist or Senior Scientist, you will play a leading role in designing and developing innovative synthetic routes, scalable chemical processes, and manufacturing solutions for small molecule APIs.
- Working alongside highly experienced chemists, engineers, and manufacturing specialists, you'll contribute to projects that span the full development lifecycle, from initial route design through process optimisation, scale-up, and technology transfer into manufacturing.

What You'll Do
- Design and execute synthetic routes to pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs.
- Develop safe, robust, scalable, and efficient chemical processes.
- Apply modern organic and process chemistry principles to solve complex technical challenges.
- Generate high-quality experimental data using a wide range of laboratory and analytical techniques.
- Support process scale-up and technology transfer into pilot plant and manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver client programs.
- Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement in everything you do.
- Take ownership of technical work packages and contribute to project success.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking curious, driven scientists who enjoy solving challenging chemistry problems and working in highly collaborative environments.
You'll bring:
- A PhD in Chemistry, or a BSc/MSc in Chemistry with relevant pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial experience.
- Strong knowledge of organic chemistry and synthetic methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving and scientific reasoning skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and desire to learn from experienced colleagues.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
