Overview:
As a Scout at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will play a key role in identifying and evaluating talent to support both First Team and Academy recruitment. You will deliver detailed player assessments, contribute to recruitment strategy, and ensure alignment with the club’s scouting methodology and long-term squad planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Player Evaluation and Analysis
- Operate within the club’s scouting framework, methodology, and player profiling guidelines set by the Lead Scout
- Attend live and online matches to assess player performance across assigned regions
- Conduct detailed research on leagues, competitions, and players identified by the club
- Produce high-quality scouting reports using club templates to support recruitment decisions

Intelligence and Information Gathering
- Collect detailed background information and references on identified players
- Ensure all intelligence is shared effectively to align with recruitment strategy
- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts across clubs, agents, and scouting networks
- Support the gathering of market intelligence on targeted players
Internal Coordination and Communication
- Attend scouting department meetings as required
- Communicate player insights clearly to recruitment staff and technical leadership
- Ensure alignment between scouting outputs and wider recruitment objectives
Professional Development and Standards
- Engage in continuous professional development and training programmes
- Support additional responsibilities as required by the department
Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience in scouting or recruitment within a professional football environment
- Strong understanding of scouting principles and player profiling
- Knowledge of league structures, player markets, and talent pathways
- Ability to assess players in line with club methodology
- Experience in live and video scouting
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data
- Ability to produce structured and objective scouting reports
- Understanding of recruitment strategy and squad planning
- Familiarity with scouting software and data tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with scouting strategy
- Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver’s license

- Formal scouting certification (e.g. PFSA, UEFA Talent ID, or equivalent)
- Coaching qualifications (UEFA License or equivalent)
- Experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders
