Job Description
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a Vetting & Screening Partner to support our Guarding and Events division by ensuring all security personnel are fully compliant and ready for deployment. You will manage the screening and vetting process in line with BS7858, ACS standards, and company policies, ensuring all checks are completed accurately and on time.
Working closely with Operations and Resourcing, you will provide efficient administrative support and deliver a smooth, professional candidate experience. Your work directly supports operational delivery, client confidence, and the highest standards of safety and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise closely with Guarding and Events operational teams to ensure vetting and screening activity aligns with deployment requirements.
- Ensure all new hires within Guarding and Events complete the required documentation, including right-to-work checks, SIA licence verification, and full BS7858 screening.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of the vetting and screening process for Guarding and Events candidates, ensuring all information is collected, verified, and processed accurately and on time.
- Review vetting data to identify risks related to candidate suitability or compliance, escalating concerns promptly to protect the business and its clients.
- Handle all personal information with the utmost confidentiality and ensure full compliance with data protection legislation and internal standards.
- Provide clear, timely, and professional support to Guarding and Events operational teams on vetting, recruitment compliance, and candidate progress.
- Maintain a positive and professional applicant experience throughout the vetting journey, ensuring all interactions are polite, supportive, and efficient.
- Monitor communication channels daily and respond quickly to operational and candidate queries, ensuring consistent, high-quality service.
- Meet weekly performance targets and KPIs set by your line manager to support operational readiness and workforce deployment.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally and confidently with candidates, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of BS7858 standards and the vetting and screening process with full training provided, ensuring full compliance with industry and legislative requirements.
- Understanding of Right to Work legislation and related compliance processes, including document verification and record keeping.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, data entry, and compliance reporting.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and sound judgment when managing workload and making decisions.
- Collaborative “one team” approach, contributing positively to a supportive and results-focused team environment.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.

SALARY: £26,450
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift between 8:30am - 18:30
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday work required on an AdHoc basis
