Role Description
The Script Writer will be responsible for developing clear, engaging scripts for videos, training materials, and other media that support disability, CBR, and inclusive development initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves working closely with the video production team to adapt scripts for different formats and audiences, and to prepare dialogue, narration, and visual cues. The Script Writer will also help maintain content consistency across projects and contribute creative ideas to enhance impact and audience engagement.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Scriptwriting, Scripting, and Screenplays for educational and advocacy content.
- Skills in Video Production, including collaborating with production teams and understanding visual storytelling.
- Strong Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in disability rights, CBR, inclusive development, or social justice is beneficial.
- Excellent research, editing, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Birmingham, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A relevant academic background in film, media, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
