Scrum Master (12-month FTC)
Enthusiastic & Collaborative Scrum Master Opportunity
We're looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Scrum Master to play a key role in driving the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile ways of working within our Fulfilment and Data Team, supporting projects across Amazon Operations and Distribution Data.
This is an exiting [](#deliberately সং ajax) opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, helping to create an environment where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement can thrive. By championing Agile principles and practices, you’ll support teams in delivering meaningful process and technology improvements.
This is a part-time, fixed-term opportunity (25 hours/week) until October 2027.
About the Role
As a Scrum Master, you’ll facilitate effective Agile workstructures and ceremonies across internal and cross-departmental projects. Supporting teams to foster trust, transparency, and agility, you’ll remove obstacles, drive productivity, and ensure seamless delivery of initiatives for lasting business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scope and timelines for cross-project workflows
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc.)
- Coach team members in Agile practices (encouraging self-management, training, empowerment)
- Lead effective conflict resolution while strengthening internal collaboration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise backlog prioritisation and new priorities
- Maintain data clarity by ensuring deliverables meet quality standards at sprint end
- Foster a culture where teams truly own outcomes, gaining fulfillment from their work
- Apply servant-leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, and adaptability
- Maintain and update tools such as:
- Confluence
- Jira Boards
- Lucidchart
- Team roadmaps

What You’ll Bring
Essential Requirements
- Proven Agile/Scrum Master experience in process/product development environments
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, from inception through outcomes)
- Strong problem-solver, with attention to detail
- Values process rhythm, discipline, and balanced workload prioritisation
Preferred Criteria
- Certifications (Scrum, Disciplined Agile, Kanban)
- experience with hybrid/remote team facilitation and frameworks
- Commitment to disability-friendly practices (≥ 2021 Disability Confident scheme recognition)

Salary & Structure
- Yearly base salary: ~£40,000 (25-hour/week hybrid role)
