Scrum Master

At Mastek, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across large-scale digital transformation programmes. This role involves working with cross-functional teams delivering modern applications using Java, AWS, Microservices, and Open-Source technologies supporting critical case management systems.

📍 Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid)
🔐 Security Clearance: SC Eligible (Mandatory)
💼 Experience: 12+ Years

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments and help teams maintain delivery momentum.
  • Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and values.
  • Support Product Owners in backlog management, prioritization, and refinement.
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Drive Scrum maturity and guide teams toward self-organization.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
  • Create a safe, trusting environment that encourages collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Coordinate across multiple cross-functional teams within large programmes.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent)
  • Several years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master delivering software development projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Expertise in:
    • Scrum practices, principles, and frameworks
    • Servant leadership and team coaching
    • Conflict resolution and facilitation
    • Agile metrics, burndown techniques, retrospectives, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical dependencies and project risks to management
  • Experience working within large, complex delivery programmes
  • Awareness of Docker-based release management processes
