Scrum Master – Data and Cloud Transformation Programme
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a major data and cloud transformation programme within a global enterprise environment. This role is suited to someone who provides strong Agile leadership, excellent facilitation skills, and experience in complex, cross-functional delivery settings.
Prior exposure to data ingestion or migration programmes will be highly valuable, along with experience using Databricks as a platform. Working closely with product owners, engineering managers, UX designers, project teams, and business stakeholders, you will help teams improve delivery flow, collaborative effectiveness, and adoption of Lean-Agile methodologies.
About the Role
As Scrum Master, your primary responsibility will be to act as a coach and facilitator embedded within cross-functional teams. You will guide the team through discovery, definition, and delivery phases, ensuring Agile principles are applied practically, balancing encouragement with constructive challenge for continued improvement.
Additionally, you’ll align team-level delivery with broader programme objectives, maintaining transparency on dependencies, risks, impediments, and progress.
Responsibilities
- Coach cross-functional teams in Lean-Agile ways of working, identifying inefficiencies and optimising feedback loops.
- Mentor teams transitioning to Agile practices and newer ways of working.
- Contribute to the Agile Community of Practice (CoP), sharing Lean-Agile principles and practical approaches.
- Facilitate key ceremonies and workshops, including:
- Retrospectives
- Story and value stream mapping
- Scrum of Scrums
- Product alignment sessions
- Ensure synchronisation between team-of-teams and Agile cadences.
- Maintain visibility of critical risks, dependencies, and impediments across the delivery landscape.
- Support Agile reporting, including JIRA queries and comparisons of planned vs. earned value.
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with the platform vertical lead to align delivery strategy with execution.
- Assess team health and maturity, supporting measurable improvements over time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
