About the Role

As a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead (Data) with expertise in Agile delivery and data-focused programmes, you will collaborate with our client’s Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery teams. You will be responsible for leading Agile delivery across one or more squads, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes while managing risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Details

  • Location: Northampton
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
  • Contract Duration: Until 31/12/2026
  • Start Date: ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile delivery across one or more squads, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and driving successful sprint outcomes.
  • Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leads, and key stakeholders to manage priorities and delivery roadmaps.
  • Track and report on delivery KPIs including velocity, burn-down, release readiness, quality metrics, and team health indicators.
  • Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Drive governance, stakeholder communications, and release planning activities.
  • Ensure delivery commitments align with organisational standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives.

Other Stuff We're Potentially Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master with Delivery Lead or Agile Delivery Management responsibilities.
  • Strong background working on data-related programmes, platforms, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent stakeholder, risk, and dependency management skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
  • Eligibility for BPSS clearance.
