Scrum Master – Data & Cloud Transformation
Duration: Initial contract until 31/12/2026 Workload: Full time hours Setup: Freelance (Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader) Location: London (3 days remote, 2 days onsite)
We’re looking for a Scrum Master to support a large-scale data transformation programme, driving Agile delivery across cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, UX, PMs) on Agile best practices and continuous improvement
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and scaled Agile events (Scrum of Scrums, retrospectives, workshops, value stream mapping)
- Drive Agile maturity, ensuring effective feedback loops, psychological safety, and high-performing teams
- Align team-level delivery with wider programme strategy and cadence
- Track and report delivery metrics (e.g., Jira reporting, Lean/Kanban indicators, planned vs earned value)
- Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and impediments across teams
- Contribute to an Agile Community of Practice and transformation initiatives

Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Lean environments
- Proven coaching and facilitation skills across cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira) and delivery metrics
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and full product lifecycle (design through to deployment)
- Experience in data-focused programmes (e.g., ingestion, migration, cloud platforms)

- Experience with Databricks and cloud data platforms
- Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM I/II/III, CSP, CTC)
- Exposure to Oil & Gas or large enterprise transformation programmes
