Role: Scrum Master
Location: We operate a hybrid schedule, meaning 2-3 days a week in the office based at Thorpe Park, Leeds.
Salary: £ DOE plus extensive benefits

Working hours: We work on a core hours principle. Our core hours are 09:30 - 16:00; you can work around these to suit you!

Our tech teams keep us running 24/7 to make sure all our patients get world class service. To support that, this role may include participation in an out-of-hours rota as required by the business. We operate fair scheduling process as well as additional compensation for all on call periods.
We're looking for a proactive Scrum Master to support Agile teams in delivering high‑impact digital healthcare products. Working across e‑commerce, web, mobile, clinical, and operational platforms, the role enables teams to deliver value at pace while maintaining quality, compliance, and a strong patient focus.
The role fosters collaboration, continuous improvement, and predictable delivery, helping teams perform at their best, sprint after sprint.

What you'll be doing?
Scrum Facilitation: Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, feature refinement, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring sessions are efficient and outcome‑focused Team Coaching: Support teams in adopting Agile principles, fostering a self‑organising culture and improving delivery performance Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers, Heads of Delivery, Tech Leads, and senior stakeholders to ensure backlog clarity, alignment, and prioritisation against business objectives RAID Leadership: Proactively identify and remove delivery blockers, escalating where necessary to maintain momentum Cross‑Functional Alignment: Enable effective coordination across technical, marketing, commercial, clinical, fulfilment, and customer care teams to deliver integrated solutions Delivery Metrics: Track and share Agile performance metrics (e.g. velocity, burn‑down charts, cycle time) to support continuous improvement and data‑driven decision‑making Quality & Compliance: Promote a delivery culture that balances speed with regulatory, security, and patient‑safety requirements Continuous Improvement: Encourage retrospection and the adoption of new practices to enhance delivery flow, team morale, and stakeholder satisfaction

Who are we looking for?
Agile Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with practical experience running Agile sprints Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in complex, multi‑team Agile environments Technical Fluency: Ability to communicate effectively with developers and understand technical constraints, architecture, and system design Backlog Management: Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps for backlog grooming and workflow tracking User‑Centric Mindset: Strong empathy for users, with the ability to translate feedback into actionable deliverables and support teams in adopting Agile principles through coaching and mentoring Analytical Thinking: Comfortable using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflict Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working with UX/UI designers, engineers, QA teams, and business leaders, coordinating delivery across web, mobile, e‑commerce, and operational services Problem‑Solving: Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills to evaluate trade‑offs and support sound delivery decisions Strong understanding of technical systems and the ability to operate effectively in technology‑driven environments, bridging the gap between technical and business requirements
