Southern Cross University is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and is offering two special scholarships for international students who commence their studies in 2024. These scholarships are designed to recognize and reward high-achieving international students who are passionate about studying at Southern Cross University.
Study Grants & Scholarships
As a recipient of this scholarship, you will have the opportunity to study at one of the beautiful campuses in Gold Coast, Lismore, or Coffs Harbour. You will be part of a vibrant and diverse community of students from all over the world and will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and academic support.

Scholarship Overview
Stipend Value: $15,000 maximum fee reduction for first-year tuition
Colleges & Universities
Degree Program: International undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree
Available in: Gold Coast, Lismore, and Coffs Harbour campuses
Number of Awards: Limited to 100 places
Host: Southern Cross University
Citizen type: International students only (excluding Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents)
Vocational & Continuing Education
Award Duration: 1 year (with possibility of extension to subsequent years, with $8,000 fee reduction)

Application Periods: Fri 1st March to Weds 31 July at 12pm
Deadline: Weds 31 July at 12pm
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a new international student starting an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in Term 5, October intake 2024 at Gold Coast, Lismore, or Coffs Harbour campus
- Meet the ATAR/GPA entry requirements

Colleges & Universities
- Have a high academic achievement above the minimum admission requirements
- Study on a student visa
- Pass all units in each term and meet program and student visa requirements
- Apply after Fri 1st March and before Weds 31 July at 12pm and accept their offer prior to 30 August 2024
- Not hold any other Southern Cross University scholarships

Be aware that this scholarship excludes quota programs (Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood, Master of Nursing, and Bachelor of Nursing) and some programs with practical placements

How to Apply
No separate application is required. Students' eligibility for Scholarships will be assessed by the Southern Cross admissions team at the time of application to Southern Cross. If successful, students will be advised in their Letter of Offer, along with the conditions of the Scholarship.
