Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: £30,000 basic + uncapped commission Sector: Cybersecurity Experience: No experience required – full training provided

About the Role

We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Manchester City Centre team, working in the exciting cybersecurity sector.

The SDR role involves you acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This includes identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and booking qualified meetings for our broader sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to potential customers using phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Confidently explain the value of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Qualify leads and arrange meetings for senior sales colleagues.
  • Consistently meet and exceed daily and monthly targets.
  • Accurately maintain CRM systems and track all activity.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable speaking to people and building connections.
  • Motivated by targets and uncapped commission earnings.
  • Resilient personality, eager to learn and adapt.
  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic required.
  • No previous sales or cybersecurity experience needed—structured training and ongoing support provided.
