Job Title: SDR Team Lead / Player-Coach

Location: London (Hybrid)

The Mission

Lead the charge. Hunt the big game. Keep the vibe immaculate.

Who Are We?

We are global localization and cultural orchestration experts. We don't just translate words; we make sure global brands (the household names you definitely know) don't accidentally insult half of Europe or Asia with a poorly translated idiom. We help brands launch across borders smoothly, authentically, and impactfully.

We are growing fast, and our Sales Development Representative (SDR) engine needs a captain.

The Role: What on earth is a "Player-Coach"?

It means you aren’t just sitting in an ivory tower looking at a CRM dashboard telling people to "make more dials." You are in the trenches with the team.

The Player (40%)

  • You still love the thrill of the hunt.
  • You’ll own your own pipeline, crack open high-value enterprise accounts, and show the team exactly how it's done.
  • Your cold emails are art; your video pitches are unignorable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Coach (60%)

  • You are the mentor, the hype-person, and the strategist.
  • You will manage a hungry team of SDRs, running daily stand-ups, reviewing call recordings, building playbooks, and turning raw talent into lethal quota-crushers.

Signs You Are Our Next Team Lead

  • You have 2+ years of B2B SaaS or Agency sales experience, with a proven track record of smashing your own outbound quotas.
  • You have a bit of leadership under your belt (maybe you were a Senior SDR mentoring newbies, or you’ve officially run a team before).
  • You view "No" as a puzzle to be solved, not an existential crisis.
  • You care deeply about data and metrics, but you care even more about the human beings behind those metrics.
  • You have a weirdly high tolerance for rejection and a genuinely infectious energy that keeps a team motivated on a rainy Tuesday afternoon.

Signs You Will Hate This Job

  • You think "leading" means delegating all the hard work while you drink coffee.
  • You believe a script should never be deviated from, ever.
  • You prefer a corporate environment where everyone wears gray suits and communicates exclusively via formal memos.

What’s In It For You?

  • A competitive base salary + an uncapped OTE (where you get paid on both your wins and the team’s wins).
  • Real, fast-tracked career progression into a full commercial leadership role.
  • A hybrid setup that actually respects your life outside of work.
  • A brilliant, multi-cultural team that genuinely enjoys celebrating wins together (and we know how to celebrate).
