Kuehne+Nagel is currently seeking a Sea Logistics Export Customer Care Specialist based in Newcastle.
The Customer Care Specialist will be part of a Customer Care team responsible for:
- Direct interaction with customers
- Proactive customer service support
- Problem-solving and follow-up
- Ensuring outstanding customer experiences with Kuehne+Nagel
- Documenting and investigating service deviations to maintain high standards
How You Create Impact
You will be at the forefront of ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, with key responsibilities including:
- Ensuring all customer requests are carried out to pre-set service levels and standard procedures in a timely manner, aligned with KPI requirements
- Delivering excellence in customer service through deep forwarding knowledge and industry awareness
- Documents, investigates and conducts root cause analysis on any service deviations using systems such as CoreLog and NPS
- Collaborates closely with Sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers
- Manages the entire claims process, from reporting to closure
- Ensuring compliance with company, industry, and legal standards
- Actively participating in workshops and conference calls as required
- Continuously analysing customer feedback to identify and drive systemic improvements

What We Look for in You
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- The ability to understand, absorb, and execute new processes with confidence
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
- A strong affinity for high customer service standards and commitment to delivering quality experience
- A customer-centric mindset and approach to problem resolution
- Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder communication
