As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. Join our Sea Logistics team as a Customer Care Specialist and become the driving force behind an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will support our customers end‑to‑end, ensuring smooth shipment handling, proactive communication, and high‑quality service delivery across our global network.
How you create impact
- Handle all customer requests according to service levels, procedures, and KPIs
- Monitor customer shipments, provide proactive updates, and resolve issues collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Document deviations, investigate root causes, and analyse performance using KN systems (TIP, EQMS, CoreLog, NPS).
- Ensure accurate transfer of customer requirements into KN systems to enable successful OCC execution.
- Manage tasks through Business Process Automation tools and maintain oversight via the CCL Dashboard.
- Qualify inquiries, prepare quotations, and support up‑selling within corporate pricing guidelines.
- Liaise closely with Sales to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.
- Monitor carrier/vendor performance, escalate discrepancies, and support claims management from reporting through closure.

What we would like you to bring
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem‑solving capabilities and resilience when facing challenges.
- Excellent organisational skills and time management to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Comfort with change and ability to adopt new technologies quickly.
- Experience with MS Office / 365 and related operational systems.
- Previous experience in sea logistics, import/export, or handling reefer containers.
- Fluent-level English skills
