National Telesales Specialist – Sea Logistics (UK)

Now, join our high-performing national sales team and play a key role in expanding Sea Logistics growth across the UK.

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a motivated, commercially-driven National Telesales Specialist to grow our customer base, strengthen our relationships, and support the continued success of our UK Sea Logistics organisation.

In this role, you’ll focus on:

  • Customer retention and development
  • New business acquisition
  • Ensuring our customers experience excellent service and seamless interactions with Kuehne+Nagel

Your Responsibilities: How You’ll Create Impact

As part of the National VT-E function, your work will directly contribute to revenue and portfolio growth. You’ll:

  • Identify and secure new export business opportunities, with a focus on the SME sector
  • Conduct cold calls, onboarding calls, and follow-ups with new customers to drive growth and quality agreements
  • Create and manage quotations, proposals, and presentations using KN tools
  • Take pricing decisions in alignment with our Trade teams
  • Analyse customer needs and propose actionable strategies to secure business growth
  • Promote KN digital/online solutions to enhance customer retention and loyalty
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer contacts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer requirements and support continuous improvement

Requirements: What We’d Like You to Bring

To thrive in this dynamic, target-driven role, you’ll need:

  • Proven sales experience in a similar telesales/inside-sales role with a track record of success
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Knowledge of sales processes, customer retention, and customer care
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and relevant digital tools
  • A commercial, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in managing customer portfolios and building sales pipelines
  • The ability to craft compelling value propositions and influence decision-making
  • Resilience, self-drive, strong organisation, and excellent time management
