Seafood Expert Opportunities: Chain of Custody Auditor
Are you passionate about ensuring the health, safety, and conservation of seafood products and processes through certification assessments?
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Seafood Auditors to conduct audits for:
- MSC Chain of Custody (Default, Groups, and CFO)
- CFI Unified Chain of Custody standards

These critical roles are essential for maintaining the integrity of our certification services, ensuring compliance with international sustainability standards, and delivering high-quality audit outcomes to clients within the seafood supply chain.

Responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive and thorough audits of seafood supply chain operations
- Assessing adherence to MSC and CFI certification standards
- Identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions to improve sustainability practices
- Providing clear, actionable findings to clients
- Representing the organisation’s commitment to responsible seafood sourcing
Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Proficiency in MSC Chain of Custody (Default, Groups, and CFO) standards and CFI Unified Chain of Custody
- Strong understanding of seafood supply chain operations
- Technical and commercial experience in fisheries, aquaculture, or seafood processing industries
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Commitment to sustainability, conservation, and environmental standards
- Relevant certification(s) (e.g., lead auditor) is beneficial but not mandatory for all roles
