SEO Manager
Location: London - hybrid working Salary: Up to £60,000 plus bonus
About This Opportunity
This is a high-impact opportunity for an SEO Manager to take full ownership of organic search across two well-known retail brands. You’ll have a genuine blank canvas, with the autonomy to shape strategy, influence stakeholders, and drive measurable growth across both websites.
About the Company
They are an established retail business with a strong high-street presence and a growing ecommerce function. The organisation is heavily investing in digital, with a focus on customer experience, performance marketing, and data-led decision making.
You’ll join a collaborative growth function, working closely with ecommerce, CRM, and digital teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the organic search strategy across multiple ecommerce sites
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and on-page optimisation
- Partner with content, digital, and development teams to implement SEO best practices
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and revenue performance, identifying growth opportunities
- Manage and optimise:
- Technical SEO
- Backlinks
- Site performance
- Act as the internal expert on search, including emerging trends such as AI-focused and generative search
- Communicate complex SEO concepts clearly to stakeholders, translating them into actionable plans

Skills & Experience
Required qualifications and experience include:
- Strong commercial experience in SEO, preferably within an in-house environment
- Broad knowledge of SEO spanning technical, on-page, and content strategy
- Comfortable working autonomously while delivering both strategic and hands-on tasks
- Experience with ecommerce or retail websites
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across teams
- Strong communication skills, with a clear and engaging style
- Awareness of evolving search trends, including AI-driven search and SERP changes
