**Store Assistant – Customer Facing Role

Store discipline operates 24/7 with shifts organised as follows:

About the Role

This role offers a starting hour rate of £13.28, increasing to £14.55 per hour within the M25. Nighttime shifts (midnight until 6am) receive an additional £2.35 per hour premium.
Guaranteed hours extend from 16 hours per week (with roles extending to part-time from 12 hours). Schedules adhere to your availability window, with shifts allocated with at least 3 weeks’ notice. Even if your availability is not exact, we encourage applications to discuss flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
- Delivering a friendly, natural, and customer-centric service.
- Long-term interior understanding of Tesco products and services to offer consistent guidance.
- Supporting versatile store duties:
- Replenishing shelves.
- Assisting with checkouts.
- Handling online order picking.
- Occasional delivery assistance.
- General store service and replenishment.
- Making data-backed customer-centric decisions.
- Handling key store-wide routines and ensuring operational excellence.
- Aligning your tasks to goals including customer satisfaction, sales growth, waste reduction, and overall store performance.
